The Vice Chancellors’ Committee was formulated in the 2^nd Meeting of the Commission held on January 08, 2003. All the Vice-Chancellors or equivalent Rectors of Universities and Degree Awarding Institutes of Public & Private Sector are the members of the Vice Chancellors’ Committee. The Chairperson, HEC and Executive Director, HEC are the Chairman and Coordinator of this Committee. Vice Chancellors’ Committee Meeting is an important forum that draws together the highest educational leadership of the country and provides an opportunity to take decision about the needs and priorities of the HE Sector. The Committee Meetings are usually held twice every year.
