The Information & Communication Technology has reaped success and helped the higher education institutions in the country to meet the development challenges while benefiting from the opportunities that the recent rapid evolution in information and communication technologies have brought about. Pakistan has an existing “ICT in Education Master Plan” developed in 2007 which defines the strategies to use ICT to expand educational opportunities, improve student learning, and develop capacity at all levels. The Higher Education Commission, therefore, endures its commitment to provide full support and strategy to the higher education institutions meeting these challenges effectively and leverage the same as tools for poverty reduction and sustainable economic development of the country.
